Xin (Cindy) Guan MD, PhD, PA-C

We are thrilled to welcome Cindy Guan MD, PhD, PA-C to the Dermatology Specialists. Cindy earned her medical degree from China Medical University, a preeminent medical school in China. She had an 8-year tenure as an OB/GYN surgeon in Beijing and spent 5 years in Japan earning her PhD in melanoma research. After moving to the United States, she completed a 2-year Physician Assistant program at the University of Maryland and trained for 2 years in Dermatology under the tutelage of a professor at John Hopkins Medical School. She passed the United States Medical Licensing Examination in 2013 and earned her MD Degree in the United States.

After completing her education, Cindy moved to New Jersey and continued her focus in Dermatology. She is well-versed in virtually all areas of Medical and Surgical Dermatology, and she also specializes in Cosmetic Dermatology. Cindy is highly respected by her patients as a warm, caring, compassionate, and highly knowledgeable provider. Dr. Cindy Guan MD PhD, PA-C specializes in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology from skin cancer diagnosis and treatment to managing a wide range of dermatological disorders including acne vulgaris, psoriasis, dermatitis, rashes, hair loss, pediatric dermatology, warts, and skin infections. She is also an accomplished dermatologic surgeon and performs complex skin cancer excisions, cyst and lipoma removal, abscess incision and drainage, and a plethora of other dermatologic procedures.
