Dr. Geller is a Board Certified Dermatologist and a Board Certified Dermatopathologist. He is a Fellow of The American Academy of Dermatology, The American Society of Dermatopathology, and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. To his knowledge he has been the only Board Certified Dermatopathologist in Northwestern New Jersey since 1993. He served Dermatopathology Fellowships at New York University and at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota after graduating from Dartmouth College and Dartmouth Medical School.  He has expertise in all areas of skin disease and skin pathology and specializes in diagnosis, skin cancer treatment, and precancerous lesions of the skin including basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, malignant melanoma, atypical (dysplastic) moles, actinic (solar) keratoses, and cutaneous T cell lymphoma (mycosis fungoides).

The practice encompasses all areas of Dermatology including skin pathology, psoriasis, skin rashes, moles, malignant melanoma, basal and squamous cell carcinomas, precancerous skin lesions, tags, cysts, growths, mycosis fungoides, acne, nail problems, facial veins, eczema, tumors, keratoses, warts, acne, rosacea, pediatric dermatology, PUVA ultraviolet light therapy, and general skin wellness. Dr. Geller has experience in numerous rare conditions from his Fellowships at New York University and the Mayo Clinic.

Dr. Geller has a dedicated, caring, friendly, and professional staff that will assist you with all aspects of your dermatologic care.  The receptionists are warm and courteous and will help you with any concerns you may have.  The nurses, medical assistants, and Physician Assistants are highly trained, knowledgeable, and compassionate.  Together with Dr. Geller, the team works hard to provide the best possible dermatologic care to our patients.

In most cases, depending on your insurance, the turnaround time from skin biopsy to biopsy results is one to two days.  As a dual Board-Certified Dermatologist and Board-Certified Dermatopathologist, Dr. Geller diagnoses biopsy slides prepared in our state-of-the-art histopathology laboratory.  Two years of his training, at New York University and the Mayo Clinic, were dedicated exclusively to skin pathology and diagnosing a large number of rare conditions.  Our technicians arrive very early every morning to prepare the slides for Dr. Geller to read between his morning and afternoon patients.  They collectively have many decades of experience in tissue processing and histotechnology and take great pride in preparing the specimens in a most professional manner.
